Privacy & Cookie Policy

Last updated: 3 August 2026

This notice explains how we handle your personal data in line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (the "PDPL"). It is written in plain English and is not legal advice.

1. Who we are (data controller)

Bin Ghannam Accounting & Auditing Limited ("Bin Ghannam", "we", "us") is the data controller for the personal data described here.

  • Email: info@binghannam.com
  • Dubai (HQ): Office 1003, 10th floor, Latifa Tower, Sheikh Zayed Road, World Trade Centre, Dubai. P.O. Box: 23573
  • Abu Dhabi: Bin Ghannam Accounting & Auditing Limited, 1127 Register20, 11th Floor, Al Maqam Tower, Regus ADGM Square, Abu Dhabi Global Market Square, Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi, UAE

2. What personal data we collect

  • Details you submit through our enquiry forms: full name, company, email address, phone number and the content of your message.
  • Details you share by WhatsApp, email or phone when you contact us.
  • Records of your consent: the exact wording you agreed to and the date and time you agreed.
  • Cookies and usage data: necessary cookies that keep the site working, and optional analytics cookies (pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type).

3. Why we use it

  • Responding to your enquiry — so a partner can reply and discuss your requirements.
  • Providing our services — audit, tax, accounting, compliance and advisory engagements you appoint us for.
  • Marketing and communications — where you have ticked the consent box, we store your contact details and use them to send you information about our services, updates and invitations. We only do this with your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time.
  • Legal and regulatory obligations — including AML, audit and record-keeping requirements applicable to a licensed UAE audit firm.

4. Legal basis

We rely on your consent for marketing communications and for storing your contact details for that purpose. We also rely on the performance of a contract, our legitimate business interests in responding to enquiries and running our practice, and compliance with legal obligations where those apply.

5. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract:

  • Hosting and database — Lovable Cloud (Supabase), which hosts this website and stores enquiry records.
  • Email provider — used to deliver enquiry notifications and correspondence to our team.
  • CRM — Wix, used to store and manage contact records and follow-up.
  • Professional and regulatory bodies — where we are legally required to disclose information.

6. International transfers

Some of our service providers process data on servers outside the United Arab Emirates. Where personal data is transferred abroad, we do so only where the PDPL permits it and with appropriate safeguards in place, such as contractual protections requiring an equivalent level of protection.

7. How long we keep it

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes above, or for as long as UAE law requires us to retain engagement and AML records. Marketing contact details are kept until you withdraw consent or ask us to delete them.

8. Your rights under the PDPL

Subject to the conditions in the law, you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you and obtain information on how it is processed;
  • have inaccurate or incomplete data rectified;
  • request erasure of your personal data;
  • restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing;
  • receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format (data portability); and
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@binghannam.com. We will respond within the period required by law and may ask you to verify your identity first.

9. Cookies

We use necessary cookies to keep this site working, and optional analytics cookies to understand how visitors use it. You can accept or reject optional cookies via the banner shown on your first visit, and change your mind by clearing this site's data in your browser. We do not sell your data.

10. Security

We apply organisational and technical measures appropriate to the risk, including encrypted connections, access controls limiting enquiry records to authorised staff, reputable hosting providers, and confidentiality obligations for our people.

11. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please contact us first at info@binghannam.com so we can put it right. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
